Senior Living In Georgia-What Are The Options?
I speak with many buyers looking for Senior living homes. There are 55 plus communities in Georgia and they are usually, but not always, attached homes with master on main. They are set up most of the time like quads where 4 ranch style homes are attached together to make a square or a row, usually at the garage sides
These units, since they are attached, are considered not townhomes, but condos since they are usually one level. There is another option for senior living here in Georgia, that would be to buy a ranch home. We call ranch homes in GA a home that has master on main and at times all rooms on one level. Some ranch homes may have a couple secondary bedrooms upstairs for guest etc, and even a basement, but for argument sake, ranch homes are considered one level living homes.
Here is a resource for you if you are looking for a master on the main and also a resource if you are only interested in Active Adult communities. Keep in mind, active adult communities usually have higher HOA fees since they Home Owner Association fee usually includes grounds maintaince, garbage pick up, amenities like clubhouse and swimming pool, and water.
